The first weekend of October, we played at Capital Wine again on Friday, and we were featured in the inaugural Folklore Fest at Washington Park in Albany on Sunday. It was great to see so much of our community there!!

Thank you to the City of Albany for having us open the first Alive at 5 since the pandemic. It was great to play, and we wish the sun had shine more. Sharing the night with other local Reggae enthusiasts, we opened for Dr. Jah and the Love Prophets to welcome summer mid May, 2021.
We played for the pandemic Halloween from 3-8 pm at Stable Gate Winery. We enjoyed the spooky day with Glass Pony, another indie rock band in the Capital District.
Our Stable Gate Farm and winery residency Continued July 18, August 8, and September 12, 2020. It’s always a pleasure to play with such great sun, such great people, and such great vibes.

Perfect Blend’s Winter Series 2020 hosted the (semi) acoustic version of Mixed Roots Sunday February 16. With hand drums, guitar, and vocals, Kofi and Pete kept the vibe for morning coffee drinkers.

As part of the Lunchtime music series at Albany, New York’s Empire Plaza, Mixed Roots played under the second of four agency buildings during lunch for State workers, neighbors, friends, and local onlookers. Sharing our sound was a pleasure all around.

On December 29, we celebrated Franklin Alley Social Club’s first anniversary in Troy, New York. It was a blast—hope all of the dancers and shuffle boarders had a great time!

Umana invited us again to play for you. We provided the restaurant with danceable beats in AfroBeat and Reggae styles from 8-10 pm on Friday October 12, 2018. We hope to come again to share the beats, share the vibes, and have you dance your night away.
On October 5, 2018, Parish Public House in Albany, NY hosted Mosaic Foundation anc had us open the stage and warm up the dance floor for them. They featured a beautiful set of danceable, upbeat tunes.

On June 16th, we had the exciting opportunity to grace the Franklin Alley Social Club in Troy, NY with fun AfroBeat and Reggae tunes. It was a fun experience for all! The social club expanded upstairs into the alley for which it is named as we enjoyed the sun and shade, danced, and played simultaneously.

On July 13, we played at the Main Branch of Albany Public Library. Connecting with our community is always fun. Bringing AfroBeat and Reggae all around the Northeast is our pleasure.
On May 5, we played our hearts out at Troy’s Dinosaur Barbecue! Thank you to all who danced and cheered and had a great time!!
We played for an ACLU benefit on March 16 at Tavern at the A in the Berkshires. Pittsfield, MA has a big local reggae scene, and we were excited to be invited to make music with them. It was a blast!
Our band shared AfroBeat music with the Albany area at Umana Restaurant and Wine Bar on March 10, 2018.
We were excited to have the opportunity to share a show at the Savoy with DJ Trumastr, arguably Albany’s best AfroBeat-spinning musician. We traded sets on February 3, 2018.
The Linda (WAMC’s live performance venue) at 339 Central Ave. In Albany, NY, hosted us on January 27, 2018. The show was part of their local music showcases.
On Sunday, October 8, we played at the Grassroots Radio Conference hosted by Grand Street Communty Arts, the home of Albany’s local grassroots station, WCAA.
